Necedah (Juneau County)
With the help of the Jewish Agriculturists' Aid Society, Chicago, the following Jewish newcomers settled here to farm: the Samuel Yampolsky family (of 8), Israel Shisnitzky family (of 7), Max Hoffman, Hyman Lewin family (of 11), Ruben Balles family (of 5) and Max Hoffman, all in 1905; the Abraham Lipnitsky family (of 9), Jack Horowitz family (of 3) and Joseph Rosenbloom, all in 1906; the Michael Schwartz family (of 4) in 1907; and the Hyman Fisch family (of 4) and Sam Fisch family (of 4).
Reported to have 10 or fewer Jews in 1927.
